Carolina jessamine
a vine, Gelsemium sempervirens, of the southern U.S. and Central America, of the logania family, having glossy, lance-shaped leaves and fragrant yellow flowers: the state flower of South Carolina.
Also, Carolina jasmine. Also called yellow jasmine.
