/euh ray"goh, euh rag"oh, ar"euh goh'/
the skeletal remains of Homo erectus of the middle Pleistocene Epoch found in a cave in the French Pyrenees. Also called Tautauvel man.
[after the name of the cave (F La Caune de l'Arago), near the village of Tautavel (Pyrénées-Orientales)]
