Simmonds

Simmonds
(Rosemary Elizabeth Simmonds 1945– )
a British cartoonist and a writer and illustrator of children’s books. She drew a popular weekly cartoon for the Guardian newspaper in the 1970s about a middle-class couple called George and Wendy Weber and more recently one called Literary Life. She has written novels in picture form including Gemma Bovery 1999.
