Sheldonian Theatre

Sheldonian Theatre
(also the Sheldonian)
a large theatre that is part of Oxford University. It was designed by Christopher Wren and built in 1663. Graduates of the university are given their degrees there. It is also used for concerts (not plays) and for other university ceremonies.
