Scottish Colourists
a group of Scottish artists whose paintings were first shown in the 1920s and 1930s, who used strong colours to paint objects and landscapes. Members of the group include S J Peploe (1871–1935), F C B Cadell (1883–1947), George Leslie Hunter (1877–1931) and J D Fergusson (1874–1961).
