Millett

Millett
(1934– )
a US writer and feminist (= person who believes strongly that women should have the same rights and opportunities as men). Her book Sexual Politics (1970) was a major influence on the women’s campaign for equal rights. Her other books include Flying (1974), The Prostitution Papers (1976) and The Loony Bin Trip (1991), about her mental problems.
