Land of Hope and Glory
the title and first line of a song by Edward Elgar, originally part of his Pomp and Circumstance marches. The words (by A C Benson) are very patriotic (= expressing pride in Britain). The song is traditionally performed at the Last Night of the Proms with the audience singing the words.
