It is also responsible for making sure that things such as electrical goods and children’s toys are not dangerous. Goods that have been tested by BSI and found acceptable are given a label in the shape of a heart, called a Kitemark. Since 1998 the BSI Group has provided services in standards and testing in over 100 countries.
