Brighton car rally

Brighton car rally
(also the Brighton run, the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run) n
an event in which many veteran cars (= ones made before 1905) drive from London to Brighton, England. It takes place in November every year and is an important social event for the owners of the old cars. Many people go to Brighton to watch them arrive. Recently, other groups of car owners have organized their own London-to-Brighton runs at different times of the year.
