Wer·nick·e-Kor·sa·koff syndrome (vĕrʹnĭ-kē-kôrʹsə-kôf', -kŏf', -nĭ-kə-) n.
A syndrome consisting of Wernicke's encephalopathy in the acute phase and followed by Korsakoff's syndrome, usually associated with severe alcoholism.
