Taí·na·ron (tāʹnə-rôn', tĕʹnä-), Cape Formerly Cape Mat·a·pan (măt'ə-pănʹ).
A cape at the southernmost point of mainland Greece. The British won an important naval battle against the Italians off Cape Taínaron in 1941.
