non-nucleoside
non-nu·cle·o·side (nŏn-no͞oʹklē-ə-sīd', -nyo͞oʹ-) n.
Any of a structurally diverse group of antiviral agents, including delavirdine and nevirapine, that inhibit the enzyme reverse transcriptase and are used to treat HIV. Also called non-nucleoside analogue.
