Reginald Howard White 
      American football player (b. Dec. 19, 1961, Chattanooga, Tenn.—d. Dec. 26, 2004, Huntersville, N.C.), was considered one of the best defensive linemen in the history of the National Football League. During a 15-year career, which included stints with the Philadelphia Eagles (1985–92) and the Green Bay Packers (1993–98), a franchise he helped lead to a Super Bowl title in 1997, White set a record for career sacks (198) and was selected to the Pro Bowl an unprecedented 13 consecutive times (1986–98). An ordained minister, he was known as the “Minister of Defense.”
