Sims, Joan Marion

Sims, Joan Marion
▪ 2002

British actress (b. May 9, 1930, Laindon, Essex, Eng.—d. June 27, 2001, London, Eng.), was a versatile character actress who appeared in scores of motion pictures and television shows during her 50-year career, but she was best known for her roles as saucy buxom characters in some two dozen of the wildly popular low-budget “Carry On” bawdy film comedies, beginning with Carry On Nurse in 1959. Her last screen appearance was in the TV film The Last of the Blonde Bombshells (2000).
