      U.S. actress (b. Feb. 11, 1921, Budapest, Hung.—d. July 4, 1995, Los Angeles, Calif.), was the youngest (behind Magda and Zsa Zsa) of the glamorous Gabor sisters and together with Zsa Zsa, to whom she bore a striking resemblance, had achieved worldwide celebrity status by the 1950s; the two often made headlines as a result of their many marriages (Eva married five times). Gabor was best remembered for her television portrayal of a New York City socialite who had to adapt to farm life on "Green Acres" (1965-71). Her striking features helped her land a Hollywood contract in 1939, but her career in show business did not ignite until she played an unemployed acrobat on Broadway in The Happy Time (1950). She appeared in such films as The Wife of Monte Cristo (1946), The Last Time I Saw Paris (1954), and Gigi (1958), and she was the voice of Miss Bianca in the two animated films The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under. The dazzling star also ran a multimillion-dollar wig company.
