Race Relations Acts

Race Relations Acts
three British Acts of Parliament (1965, 1968 and 1976) together with the Race Relations Act Amendment (2000) designed to protect the rights of ethnic minorities living in Britain, and making it illegal to treat people differently because of their race. The 1976 Act established the Commission for Racial Equality to investigate complaints and improve relations between the races.
