Mosley

Mosley
(1896–1980)
an English politician who left the Labour Party in 1931 to form and lead the British Union of Fascists. (He had previously also been a Conservative and an Independent Member of Parliament.) The policies of his own party reflected his admiration of the Nazis, and its members became increasingly violent and anti-Semitic. In 1936 Mosley married Diana Mitford. They were both kept in prison between 1940 and 1943, during World War II. Mosley himself had become a baronet in 1928.
