Council of Europe

Council of Europe
an organization that aims to protect human rights and encourage European countries to work together in areas such as culture, education, sport, health, crime and the environment. It is based in Strasbourg, France, and has 45 European countries as its members. It is responsible for the European Court of Human Rights.
