Boston Stump

Boston Stump
the popular name for the very tall 15th–century church tower in the English town of Boston, Lincolnshire. The tower can be seen easily from the sea and this was helpful to sailors when Boston was an important port. The US city of Boston is named after this port because many of the Pilgrim Fathers began their journey from there in 1608.
