Ty·son (tīʹsən), Michael Gerald. Known as “Mike.” Born 1966.
American prizefighter. In 1986 he became the youngest ever to win the world heavyweight title, which he held until 1990. Repeatedly in trouble with the law, he was imprisoned from 1992 to 1995 after being convicted of rape.
