Jerome A. Nachman
American journalist (b. Feb. 24, 1946, Brooklyn, N.Y.—d. Jan. 19/20, 2004, Hoboken, N.J.), became well known for his street-smart bluntness and humour during the course of his career in television news. He worked for CBS (1971–81) and NBC (1981–87) before serving (1989–92) as editor in chief of the New York Post. In 2002 Nachman was made a vice president of MSNBC and the host of Nachman, a news talk show on that channel. He received a Peabody Award and an Edward R. Murrow Award and was nominated for an Emmy Award.
