      American-born dancer, choreographer, and director (b. April 27, 1927, Boston, Mass.—d. Aug. 23, 2001, Leicestershire, Eng.?), helped change the face of musical theatre choreography in Great Britain by incorporating American jazz dance movement in works for the stage, film, and television. He was best known for the “We're Knights of the Round Table” number in the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975).
