Canadian-born American news producer (b. Dec. 7, 1920, Montreal, Que.—d. Feb. 5, 2006, Englewood, N.J.), contributed a number of innovations in television news broadcasting as an NBC executive from 1950 to 1988. It was Frank who paired Chet Huntley and David Brinkley on The Huntley-Brinkley Report, a show that revolutionized television news with its dramatic use of images and narrative-based reporting.
